After a long work week, our co-workers decided we should all let off some steam with a little office party. I was surprised to see you there since you are generally quiet, unsociable, and awkward. You sat in the corner alone as you pounded drink after drink. I watched you as you began to fidget with your tie, as you gave the girls from the company the side eye. You really looked like you needed some release, so when you got up to leave, I followed you. We shared the same taxi and came back to my house. I gave you the release you were looking for, so I hope you have an upcoming productive work week. If so, maybe tension releasing weekends can be a new thing for you.
